Insuranceopedia Explains Chartered Insurance Professional
Becoming a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) increases credibility and earning potential in the Canadian insurance industry. As with many other fields, higher qualifications typically lead to higher compensation. To maintain the CIP status, professionals must pay an annual fee. CIPs often earn salaries that are one and a half times greater than those of insurance agents who do not hold the same certification.
